Hello everyone! There’s a new video on my YouTube channel featuring this Lime Crime palettes 😀

I wanted to give a review of these palettes a long time ago and finally I could write a post about it!

So these are the palettes, and look at this packaging! They give me a lot of nostalgic vibes, reminding me a lot to the Polly Pockets I had when I was a child.

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

This are the shades. I got the Sugar Plum and Pink Lemonade, there’s also a third one but I did’t like the colors co much so I only purchased this two.

The quality of the shadows are ok, they perform well and the colors are beautiful, but I didn’t got so crazy about them. I wish they were a little bit more pigmented, but that doesn’t mean they are bad, some shades need to be built, but they blend very well.

I think it’s possible to use them individually, at least I don’t need to grab other eyeshadows to combine with them. I like a lot to use them together and like this I feel I have many possibilities to create different looks. You can create from a natural soft look to a very edgy and colorful one.

Here’s the link of the tutorial if you would like to see the look I did with them! Hope you like it!

Skull Candy Tutorial//My YouTube channel is here!

Hello!!! I’m so excited because today I uploaded my first video on my YouTube channel and more are coming soon!

I had a long time preparing for this, making research, learning how to edit videos, customize my channel, camera, ring light, etc. I wanted to expand my blog to a whole new level, a way I can express myself more, show you hauls, how clothes fit from brands, reviews from products but mostly makeup tutorials! I’m not a professional, everything I know I learned from myself and I want to show you that you don’t need perfect skills and spend lots of money. This doesn’t mean my blog will disappear, not at all!

So, if you want, I will appreciate a lot if you take a look of my video, hoping you will like it! Just click on the link below 😉

My Makeup Wishlist

Hello! I hope you’re doing great 🙂

Well, this is a new type of post for me, but I have been seen it a lot in other blogs so I decided to try it and share the makeup items I would love to purchase in the future. As I live in Austria, I can purchased all of them from their website, BUT shipping costs and taxes are so high, so I always want to make sure I really like this items so much to spend all this money or better wait for the next time I cross the sea back to my beautiful Mexico and order them there. Let’s get started!

Kat Von D Beauty

Of course! If I had all the money in this world, I would purchase everything of this brand because I just love it!!! Good and bad news, the good news is that they finally offer worldwide shipping on their website, the bad is that is PRETTY expensive, you have to spend at least 150 dlls. for free shipping plus taxes, so it’s really an investment, but possible to get her products anyway. So the products I want are:

Saint + Sinner Eyeshadow Palette

When I saw this palette on Kat Von D’s instagram I was not so sure about the colors, the packaging as always is so beautiful but it was until I saw the swatches on her YouTube account where I convinced myself that this has to be mine. They look so rich, pigmented and buttery, the possibilities with this palette are endless, and perfect for travels! You get everything you need there. This is a limited edition, which I hate! Why she do this to us!? So I really hope I can get my hands on this.

Everlasting Glimmer Veil

Shiny metallic lips returned and this ones are just amazing, you can use them individually or over other liquid lipstick to transform it or create a custom shade. The shades I would love to purchase are Thunderstruck, Rocker and Razzle.

Shade + Light Creme Contour Palette

Foto 30-9-17 21 35 03

This one is consider already as one of the best creme contour palettes. I started to use creme contour in my makeup routine and I really like it. I use the NYX Wonder Stick so I would love to make an upgrade and try a high end version and it has to be this palette.

Tarte Cosmetics

Tarte became another of my favorite brands. Everything I own is just perfect and they also ship worldwide on their website.

Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation

Foto 30-9-17 21 26 07

I have very dry skin, so searching for a foundation is always a challenge and lately I want to find one with a dewy finish. Doesn’t matter what I do, my face always looks matte, which is not bad, but sometimes I really want to have this natural dewy effect. I have seen this one in a couple of youtubers with dry skin type and I love how it looks! I hope this is the foundation is what I am looking for!

Rainforest of the Sea radiance drops

Foto 30-9-17 21 25 39

And what about my other foundations with matte finish? Well, for a more radiant or dewy finish, these drops will do it! And you can use it also as a liquid highlight!

Poreless Mattyfing Primer

Foto 30-9-17 21 27 24

Lately I realized that even with my dry skin I have an oily T zone and at the end of the day my foundation disappear on the nose area, this products also reduces the appearance of pores without drying out the skin. I read very good reviews of this product so I wanted to give it a try.

Brighter Days Highlighting Moisturizer

Foto 30-9-17 21 26 43So it seems that all I want from this brand is mainly face products. This moisturizer is not just an ordinary one, it provides luminosity on the skin for a healthy glow looking.

Anastasia Beverly Hills

Liquid Glow in ”Perla”

Foto 30-9-17 21 27 55

The new items from ABH are so bomb! I owned one Glow Kit and I use it everyday. I’m not so much fan of liquid highlighters, or at least I never found one I would really like to use until I saw this one, it looks so stunning on the skin and this shade is perfect for my skin tone.

Matte Lipstick

Foto 30-9-17 21 29 39

Since I started to use liquid lipsticks, I left behind my bar lipsticks. But there’s some shades I just can get with liquid lipsticks, mostly brown and cherry shades, so since I don’t buy anything from MAC, because they were my favorite matte formula, I want to try this ones! The shades I want are Rosewood, Brandy, Rum Punch and Peachy.

Black Moon Cosmetics

Liquid Lipsticks

And last but not least! I want to expand my makeup brand range and get to know indie brands and I found this one. Their lipsticks shades are so unique and beautiful, they have very good reviews plus they offer worldwide shipping! The shades I want to try are Cider, Buried and Mortis.

And that’s it! This is my current makeup wishlist and of course I will let you know if I get them and give you an honest review. Hope you like it! xoxo.

ABH Subculture Palette: My experience and how to make it work!

Hello everyone!!! Well, in case you don’t know, Anastasia Beverly Hills released a new eye shadow palette which they describe it as the sister of the well known ”Modern Renaissance” palette, the one that is consider one of the best eye shadow palette on the market because of it originality and great quality.

The ”Subculture” palette is another very well made palette with very unique and original shades. I saw a couple of tutorials with some of my favorite beauty gurus, Alteeey and Jkissa on Youtube and I fall in love with their looks and this palette. The release date was on July 25th and after thinking a lot if I should get it now or better wait, I couldn’t resist it, so I bought it. The palette costs 42 dlls by the way. I don’t own many products from ABH to be honest, but the ones I own I love them, they are great and with an amazing quality, I can’t live without my Dip Brow pomade! So that’s why I was very sure I will get a very good product. No matter how expensive the shipping cost was (17.95 dlls.) plus taxes (25 euro) which I divided this costs with a friend, when I see something I really like, I get it, I might be a little bit of a compulsive shopper, but I really loved this palette, so what?

Well, there’s thousands of swatches and pictures all over the internet, so I will just show you how the palette looks from the inside.

Foto 2-8-17 20 03 45

So these are the 14 shades, and it depend on your personal taste if you like them or not, in my case, I love edgy makeup looks, so for me, this colors are amazing. But now let’s talk about my experience and the drama about it…

The palette got viral the last two days because of the bad reviews and brutal criticism, many MUA Youtubers hated it, showing how bad it blends, how difficult is to work with, that the shades are patchy and powdery, some of them even hit the pan in the very first time they use it. So a lot of drama for a makeup palette, watching these videos made me feel so depressed. But know, after my trying this palette, I want to tell you my honest thoughts and share my experience with you, me as a mortal non-makeup artist/just a makeup lover person.

I got this palette yesterday and of course I was so excited and wanted to try it, so I did my normal makeup routine and then I started to play with this palette. I primed my eyes with the ”Shape Tape” concealer from Tarte, and setting it with a base shadow from Catrice, this is what I do recently to prime and set my eyes. First I didn’t have idea what to do, I suddenly lost inspiration so I just picked the colors I liked the most and put them on my eyelids, first I took the shade ”Dawn” as a transition shade, then ”Edge” on my crease, I notice fall out in the pan when I put my brush to take the shadow, but the same issue happen to me with the ”Modern Renaissance” so I didn’t got scared and until then everything was fine, then I took the shade ”Untamed” and then the problems started, there was a little bit of fall out in my freshly well made foundation, but ok, that happens, but the problem was that I was not able to make a proper blending on this shade and the first two colors disappeared, so I went back and put some of them again but then the green shade started to disappear, so I put some more, and it was the same situation, I was not sure if I was having a bad makeup day, but at this point my eyelids looked like I let my 3 year old niece to make my makeup… then I noticed that there was a line on my crease that was not picking the green shade, and I put some more there and it was getting messier and messier until I had to clean my eyelids completely, all this fail makeup took me at least 30 minutes… But I did’t wanted to give up, so I started again.

This time I took different brushes, and pick a less as a could of product and work little by little with the same shades, I just added ”Destiny” before ”Untamed”, and only add this one to create more deepness on the crease, and then add a new shade, ”Electric” on my eyelids and YES! Nailed it!! I unfortunately didn’t took a picture of my look, but it was really bomb, I love it so much! I will recreate it and show it to you in the next days. Ah! by the way, this second try took me 15 minutes, which is my normal amount of time.

So after all this experience this is what I learned and I want to share some tips that worked for me in case you own/purchased/want this palette:

  1. Don’t get too crazy with the fall out when picking the color with the brush. This exact issue happen with the MR and I have this palette for a year and use it a lot (I will show it on the pictures below) and only one shade hit the pan. So this doesn’t mean a waste of product, is the way it is! So chill and be as light handed as you can.
  2. Use this palette when you are not in a rush! Because this one needs patience and I will tell you why. So if you have 40 minutes, this palette might give you stress, mostly if you don’t know the next tips 😉
  3. Make your eye shadow work first, the dark shades have a tendency to fall out, so don’t ruin your perfect base or concealer, and no, this is not the first palette I have to reverse my makeup routine, I do this mostly when I want a dramatic look or when I’m playing with colorful shades.
  4. Built the dark shades little by little, that’s why you need patience and time, this is the best way to make this colors work, to avoid this weird line on the crease but mostly, for making the blending easier, yes the shadows can blend, you just need to give them some love and patience.
  5. Don’t put dark shadows over concealer to ”cut crease”, this is the only strong issue I found, they get darker or oxidase over wet creams, so better avoid it or try to blend the dark color with the lighter color you want to use, I am not an expert in cut crease, but is better you to know this before you realize it in the middle of your makeup…
  6. Think what look you want to try before starting. This might sound silly, but this was my mistake, and I end up cleaning my makeup, but this also happen to me mostly when I get to try new palettes, and this one needs a little bit of practice, so you might have a hard time, so better think what you want to do, and if inspiration is not there, hello Youtube tutorials! and talking about this…
  7. Watch the ones with more positive reviews, yes there is and I trust them, and if they could make it work, you also can, don’t think is just for not bothering the brand or something.

And that’s it! I didn’t find anything else to do or avoid. Yes is not an easy palette, if you’re always on the rush or not so patient, or not so experienced with eye shadow, this palette might not be for you, but I personally like it, I think I can make a lot of looks with it and I don’t want to let this drama to affect me, is makeup! Nobody died… and before I conclude this post, I just want to show you both palettes.

Foto 2-8-17 20 11 58

So the packaging is the same size with this velvety material, I personally like more the Subculture color, because is less messy than the pink one, but anyway they can get dirty very fast…

Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

And here are the shades of both palettes, as you can see they’re very different from each other. I own the MR since a year ago and I really use it a lot, and even with fall out when I take the shades, I didn’t hit the pan in almost all shades. Of course it’s easier to work with the MR, but in general, I feel they’re not so apart from each other in this regard. They are both very pigmented and the colors are beautiful.

I hope this might help you to either work with this palette in case you own it, or to decide if you want to get it. If you have questions or want to share your thoughts please let me know in the comments!

Cruelty Free Makeup Haul: What I got in LA!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetHello everyone!! It’s been a long time! A lot happened in the past weeks, first I travel to my hometown Monterrey, Mexico, and I got married! Then I travel to the California to spend our Honeymoon there! I will make a little blog about the places and cities we have been. I got crazy this time and went to different Sephora and Ulta Beauty stores to find many of the makeup you see and I already tried most of it! So I will talk about all this products and tell you my thoughts on each one. Hope you like it!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetKat Von D Beauty

One of my favorite makeup brands is definitely Kat Von D! Is very unique, the packaging designs, the quality, the crazy colors and the fact I love her since always make this brand super special. This time I got the Lock-it Blotting Powder in the shade ”Light” and it’s just too good to be true. The packaging it’s gorgeous but the powder has this soft velvety finish without any fragrance which I appreciate a lot, I use it to set my makeup and for making some touch ups during the day and it adds the perfect coverage without looking dry or soaking your makeup. Next item is the Pastel Goth palette, this one I actually got it in Sephora México and I couldn’t be happier to find it! This was a very limited edition and I couldn’t get it because she doesn’t ship to Austria, so I thought I will never get it but never say never! This palette might not be for an everyday look, but it’s really pretty, the colors are so pigmented and buttery, very easy to work with and they last all day! They’re also so bright, I really love this palette, it’s a very special one for my collection. And last, I got five Everlasting Liquid shades, three from the new colors and two from the classic ones, I got Exorcism, Lolita II, Muñeca, Miss Argentina & Roxy. This is one of my favorite liquid lipstick formulas, because it doesn’t over dry your lips and it’s long lasting! Processed with VSCO with a5 presetUrban Decay

Another brand I love and it sells their products in Austria! I could get this two items from the Jean-Michel Basquiat collection in sale! I was so much looking forward to this but for some reason it never reach Austria, or just some products in Douglas.at but I’m very glad I found them with a 40% discount! The blush set is perfect for travel because you have everything you need! I especially love the blush ”Noho” and the highlighter. The eyeshadow palette is really good, very pigmented, not so much fall out and perfect for a very edgy or dramatic look. I wanted to try the setting spray in ”Chill” because I heard is perfect for dry skin which I have, and it’s good, I mean, the ”All Nighter” was great and I never felt it dried my skin but this one feels a little bit smoother and cooling. And last but not least, the loved/hated Naked Heat palette, I love warm tone eyeshadows, I think they suit me better so that’s why I wanted to get this and I’m glad I did! The colors perform very well, you can definitely get many looks from a natural to a very dramatic one, I guess this shades will be perfect for autumn! I heard many beauty gurus complaining or talking bad about this palette, first because it’s not the first warm tone palette that exist lately and also because is too similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills ”Modern Renaissance” which I own and is definitely not to compare! Both are great and special by their own. I am really happy with this palette, so much that I can’t stop using it!

Tarte

This is the first time I get to try Tarte Cosmetics products and until now I’m very satisfied. Some of the products I really wanted to try was the Amazonian Clay Foundation and the Shape Tape Concealer, and everything you heard about this it’s true! The foundation is like a mouse type and is has a great coverage, not insane but at least your face doesn’t look cakey, doesn’t oxidase and it has a semi satin finish. It’s long wearing, I wore this when I went to Disneyland and it stayed perfect all day long. The concealer is really great, for a reason is the favorite of many beauty gurus, good coverage, long lasting, doesn’t crease and a little amount goes a long way. I got the eye cream first as a sample, and I don’t lie, but this thing transform your puffiness and dry eyelids in seconds! You need only the tinniest amount and softly put it around your eyes and really, they will look more awake! So I got the real size version and I’m happy to finally find a great cruelty free eye cream, totally worth the price! And the last items, I got them together as part of the Birthday gift from Sephora (I have the beauty insider card so that’s why I got it), and I love them! The blush is just perfect, the shade is my favorite and the lipstick is very velvety and smooth, and you can find the real size at tarte.com and they ship to Austria! So I will definitely purchase some stuff in the future!Processed with VSCO with a5 presetAnastasia Beverly Hills

Another great brand that never disappoints. I got the blush trio in ”Pool Party” and it’s really great! Long lasting and the shades are very suitable, I definitely want to purchase more! And finally I got my first Glow Kit, this one is Aurora, it’s funny because when I saw this on the ABH instagram I wasn’t very sure of the colors, I thought they were not easy to wear or not for a everyday look, BUT when I saw this live I fall in love! They are very buttery, they look like wet on the skin and very very suitable! I love to combine eclipse and luna to make a perfect rose gold shade, you don’t need to be very edgy to pull this off!Processed with VSCO with a5 presetAnd the last items I got! First, Smashbox is recently cruelty free as well as Stila! So I purchased the Photo Finish Primer in the travel size to try it and see how it performs on my skin and I definitely like it! It make my foundation look more dewy and it keeps it in place without drying my skin. One of my favorite items of the haul is definitely the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow liquid eyeshadow! I got the shade ”Kitten Karma” which is like a peachy gold and I looove it. I like to put it on the inner corners of my eyes to give it a pop to my look, and it stays all day, the glitters doesn’t fall and it doesn’t crease on the eyelids!

Another primer I got, and it’s the only drugstore item I got… is the e.l.f Hydrating Primer, which I still don’t know if I hate it or maybe I didn’t use it properly, but this soaks my foundation when I’m applying it, instead of hydrate it makes my foundation look cakey and patchy. I will keep going and give it more tries until I know if this is a hit or miss. Another affordable brand I got is BH cosmetics.  They sell their some of their products in Urban Outfitters and there I got this seven eye brushes set and I’m very happy with them! They are soft, perform very well, good application and I got them for 23 dlls! I’m curious about their other products so I will definitely try more!

And the last products might be a little bit confusing for you if you’re searching for real Cruelty Free brands. Inglot is a cruelty free brand certificated by PETA, when I entered the store the personal told me they’re cruelty free and I bought some of their best sellers, the eye gel liner, which is great, doesn’t smudge, is waterpoof and has a matte finish with a true black color, and the Duraline liquid, which you can use it in case your eyebrow pomade or gel liners get dry or even to transform powder eyeshadows into liquid liners! The only disadvantage might be that even if the company does not test on animals, the providers of their ingredients might test, so it’s not a 100% sure cruelty free and bloggers like Cruelty Free Kitty or Logical Harmony doesn’t list them in their cruelty free brands. So this is up to you if you want them or better pass. I got this information very late, so I have to learn to better check brands very well before purchase them, but I will still own this two items.

So that’s it! This is my makeup haul and I hope you enjoy it!! xoxo

My online shopping Haul! Dr. Martens/Missguided/ Beauty Bakerie and more!

Hi there!! I spend some money in the past two weeks and I don’t have any regrets… Some of the clothes are not like the summer kind of thing, but when you live in a place where hot days only lasts for two months, I actually feel ok with that. So I wanted to share with you the stuff I got and hope you like it!Dr. Martens shoes are my favorite, they’re a classic that never dies, they’re original, excellent quality and long lasting! And they’re now having a big sale on their website! I got this ones with a 40% off. I never imagined I will wear white shoes but this ones are so cool, I just couldn’t resist them. I love shoes that can lift any outfit. The model name is “Cordelia”.

I love mustard color and I wanted a jacket like this for a while, so when I saw this on the Missguided website I fall in love, the material is so soft and light, I know is summer but, sometimes you need a jacket! Right? Right?! Whatever I love this jacket.

I got this Boohoo blouse from ASOS. It’s a very beautiful top with a flower print. Sometimes you can get very nice clothes for small prices from Boohoo and this one is an example. I love the color and the sleeves, is open in the back with two laces to put it together. I will wear this with a white bodysuit underneath.

Well, yes, more Monki stuff. One of the reasons I love this brand is because of the prints, they always have such original prints that I can’t resist them. This denim dress is perfect, I can imagine to use is with a stripped shirt, a plain color one or even the top on the second picture! And also, is perfect for the transition season outfits (I mean we’re not even officially in summer and I’m already thinking in Autumn…).

And my last shop was this Beauty Bakerie makeup. I got them via cocktailcosmetics.co.uk

I heard many great things about this brand so I wanted to try it out! Look at this packages? Aren’t they so cute?? I already tried them all, the eyeshadow palette and I love it! Good pigmentation, beautiful colors, actually this palette remind me a lot to the Too Faced “Peanut Butter and Jelly”, the colors are so easy to work with, you can make a lot of looks with this one. The liquid lipsticks are AMAZING, I got the shades “Yogurt and Berries” and “Sakura Delight”, they really stay all day, I ate, drink water and Coke Zero (yep, I love that beverage) I even have ice cream and this never get off! I was waiting for a lipstick like this! I definitely will purchase more colors in the future. And the last thing was the setting powder, that unfortunately didn’t work for me 😦 I have very dry skin and this one soaks my makeup, plus is meant to be a translucent powder and when I applied this, it turns my under eye area like two shades darker, it’s smells like baby powder and doesn’t feel so comfortable, so this is a pass for me.

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed this a little bit! xoxo!

My drugstore favorites // Cruelty Free

r

Foto 16-6-17 10 14 48

Hello there!! So today I’m going to talk about my current drugstore favorites and also about my favorite cruelty free brands you can actually get in Austria. If you don’t know, I leave in Vienna, and to be honest, there’s not so much variation of brands here… And since I decided to stop supporting brands that test on animals, find good products and dupes was kind of a challenge. Some of these brands you can find in DM, Bipa or Müller. Other brands I will mention have their own stores and some of then you can get them online. So let’s get started!

Essence

This one is one of the cheapest brand of my list. I didn’t try the entire line so far, but this products are my absolute favorite and they perform like a high end brand.

”All about Matt!” Fixing Compact Powder: Well I have the driest skin EVER so finishing powders can destroy my makeup because they end up soaking my base, leaving a cakey horrible texture, but THIS is a holy grail. I apply it with a damp beauty blender to set my concealer and the areas where my fine lines appear during the day and this contains my makeup all day without cracking or soaking, it leaves a beautiful matte texture, brightens, doesn’t leave any color, is really translucent and has no flashback! It’s amazing and it cost less than 3 euros!

Liquid Ink Waterproof Eyeliner: If you suffer of watery eyes, this one is your salvation. Doesn’t smudge and stays all day long, even with false lashes. It’s not a matte finish, is a little bit shiny, but it has true black color and the applicator is easy to work with.

Lash Princess Mascara: This mascara claims to give a false lashes effect and it really does! My eyelashes are thin and short, but I only need two coats and that’s it! My lashes have volume and length with a true black color. I recommend to wait a little bit before coats because the formula is a little bit watery, but it doesn’t smudge and stays on all day.

Lash & Brow Gel: I use this to set my eyebrows and I honestly don’t think I need another brow gel! Sets my brow hairs perfectly without leaving a weird texture, they look so natural.

Long Lasting Eye Pencil: I use this on my waterline to brighten my eyes and I love it! This one is a pearl rose gold color and is so beautiful. A bright eyeliner can help you to open the eye and this looks so nice, it gives you the right amount of color.

Catrice

Glam & Doll Waterproof Mascara: This one is my current favorite mascara, as I already mention, I have watery eyes, and when I feel my eyes will give me pain, I use this and it doesn’t smudge, stays all day and you will really need a waterproof makeup remover for this. It gives you volumen and length and you don’t need more than two coats!

Single Eye shadows:  I tried the matte and shimmer ones and they perform so well! They have a buttery texture and the pigmentation, is great for a great cheap price.

Sleek

Well, to be honest I didn’t tried enough products of this brand, I will do it in the future, I only tried the liquid lipsticks and a blush… but I didn’t like the liquid lipsticks, trust me, they are bad, really avoid them. But the blush formula is really good, I have the color pomegranate and is one of my favorites, perfect pigmentation with a little amount of shimmer, stays all day and you need the littlest amount of product in every application.

NYX

”Stay Matte But Not Flat” Foundation: Let me remind you that I have super dry skin, and even if this looks like a foundation to avoid because of the name, well, this is by far my favorite drugstore (price) foundation. I use it for my daily basis, it has a great coverage, is build able, leaves a perfect soft matte texture, doesn’t separates on the skin and the best part is that is stays all day!

Angel Veil Primer: This primer is great! You can even use it without foundation, it blurs redness, soft the pores and leaves a velvet texture on the skin, doesn’t dry your skin and it keeps your foundation in place.

HD Eye Primer: I have the Urban Decay Eye Potion, and this one performs much better! Easy to apply, not drying and makes your eye shadows pop and stay all day.

NYX Glitter Primer: If you love glitter, this one is the perfect glue, easy to apply and work with, it will leave your glitter in place without fall out!

Strobe & Genius Palette: For months this highlight palette was the only highlighter I used, because, I was not a lot into the flashing highlight trend, now this change, but this palette perform so good, you can go from a healthy glow to a glam glow look, I love to combine the colors, they are not so buttery, but that makes them easy to apply and built, it also doesn’t empathize your pores or fine lines and stays all day.

Sweet Cheeks Palette: To be honest, with this palette you don’t need more blushes, in case you don’t like to invest so much on it, I’m a little bit like this… It has beautiful colors, super flattering and pigmented, is almost my daily blush palette.

Single Eye shadows: I love them! They are so pigmented, easy to blend and build able, plus they have a big color range for a great price.

The Body Shop

Well, maybe this brand is a little bit pricey for a drugstore price, but if you compare some L’Oreal or Maybelline items, is almost the same prices… So that’s why I included this brand on this list.

Eye shadow palettes: I got that palette a year ago (you can see it in the photo)… but all their eye shadows palettes are so great and nice color selection. This one was a Christmas special edition, contains four shimmer colors and all of them perform very well.

Colourpop

Matte Liquid Lipstick: Well, this ones have been loved and hated because of their formula, I purchased my first liquid lipsticks with them more than a year ago and yes, they were super drying, but the colors are so pretty and come on, the price is great… BUT, I purchased new shades on March and I’m very sure they made something in the formula, because now they are less drying, better pigmentation and the bound is different! Even the dark shades stays without cracking!

Satin Liquid Lipstick: Even if this ones are not kiss proof, the pigmentation is amazing, the formula is so buttery and soft, and if you want to put them away, it will take you a while because it seems like you have layers and layers of color! I use them without lip liner because they don’t bleed! Definitely my favorite formula.

Highlighter in ”Stole the Show”: I only own this shade, but I live for it! I use it not only as a highlight on my cheeks, but as an eye shadow, brow highlight and, my favorite, to brighten the inner corners of my eyes.

That’s it! I hope you liked this post! If you have any questions or you want to share your experience with some of this products, please let me know in the comments! I will keep going searching for more drugstore splurges!

Have a nice day!!

Lime Crime M$LF Bundle Review & Swatches

I have a love/hate thing with this bundle. First, I did’t want to buy them because of the package and names, and the colors where a little bit not my style, but they were half price two weeks ago and I couldn’t resist them so I bought them. The colors are nice, they look a little bit different on me than the swatches in Lime Crime’s Instagram, mostly the shade ”Stacy’s Mom”. In my last post I said that Lime Crime is one of my favorite liquid lipstick  formula, because of how they feel on my lips, not drying during the day, easy application and they look so velvet on lips, but this ones are a little bit different… I feel them a little bit drying, mostly the shade ”Low Cut”, the one starts to fade! and if you eat, they disappear. They’re not as resistant as the other velvetines I have, actually the ones from the Utopia bundle are insanely pigmented and feel so comfortable on the lips.

So, what I like about this bundle? The colors are great for an everyday makeup, to be honest, I wore them all this past week, because as I said, the colors are nice and different from each other. This bundle go from hate to love for me… Another good thing about them is that even if they feel a little bit dry, they don’t flake, which is something good for me because I can’t stand that. I don’t think the shades are so unique, but I think they can suit every skin tone and they’re easy to combine with your makeup look.

So now let’s see the swatches:

This one is the shade ”M$LF” which is a nude with a pink undertone. This one has the better resistance of the bundle and is the less drying one. Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

This one is the shade ”Cougar” which is a very special one for me, I don’t own any similar shade, this is like a grayish brown, a very 90’s tone. This one is my favorite of the bundle.Processed with VSCO with a5 presetThis shade is ”Low Cut”, is a very beautiful brick red, but this one dries so much and sometimes start to disappear, is a shame because I really like the color, but you need to re apply a coat every 2 or 3 hours…

And the last shade of the bundle is ”Stacy’s Mom”. This on is a nice mauve purple, but this shade made me so angry, because it doesn’t look nothing like the swatches on Instagram… I thought this will be a more bright berry color instead.
